Residential Care Homes

Residential care homes provide room, board, housekeeping, supervision, and personal care assistance. They usually centrally store and distribute medications for residents to administer. The level of care and supervision offered is appropriate

for older adults who are unable to live by themselves, but who do not require 24-hour nursing care. Residential care facilities are typically small, private homes and house a small number of older adults.  Recreational and social services may be offered.
