Group Homes

If your loved one likes the idea of living in a house, but can no longer remain in their own home, you might consider a group home. Group homes offer a private or semi-private bedroom, while the living areas are shared with the other residents. Meals are typically served and shared in the dining room, providing an

opportunity for socialization daily. Assistance with activities of daily living may be provided. Group homes usually accommodate a small number of older adults. The homes are licensed by the state in which they are located; each state has its own regulations.
