Physical Therapy

Licensed physical therapists provide doctor-prescribed services for both recovery and prevention.

Physical therapy can be just as beneficial for older adults as it is for younger patients. Drug-free treatment can help with recovery from falls or other injuries as well as with the ongoing

management of serious diseases. Physical therapy can help in many areas, including:

  • Range of motion
  • Flexibility
  • Coordination and balance
  • Continence
  • Pain management

When guiding your loved one through range of motion exercises, be careful to do exercises slowly and do not push past joint limitations.
