About Dr. Mindy Kim-Miller, MD, PhD
Dr. Mindy, LightBridge's Senior VP of Research and Education and Principal
Investigator, provides answers to general medical questions related to dementia
and Alzheimer’s. She received her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison, where she studied regulated secretion from neuroendocrine cells,
and earned her MD from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She
completed an MD/PhD Combined Degree Medical Scientist Training Program in order to
pursue translational research. Dr. Mindy’s personal experiences living with and
helping to care for a grandfather with dementia continue to inspire her support of
caregivers.
